John Fiske Senior Baptised 22.02.1606- Married Elizabeth Day 30.03.1631- Buried 21.01.1675 A chief inhabitant in 1656,1659-60 and 1664. Churchwarden in 1632-3, 1648-9, 1657-8 and 1671. He was assessed at three hearths in 1674. John rented a meadow from the town in 1642. By 1643 he was assessed at 4d a month for the poor rate. His local worth grew over time, with a peak assessement at 2s/-2d in 1665-6. In 1670 he pledged 6d for the redemption of Christian slaves. His final poor rate assessement was in 1672, (three years before his death) at 1s/-6d a month. In the same year he served as master of the town arms.

He had three children, JOHN, WILLIAM, ELIZABETH.

William Fiske Senior Baptised 17.08.1609-Married Mary 1633- Buried 1652. Overseer in 1648-50. Churchwarden in 1639,1646 & 1652 at which point he was identified as a Gentleman. Paid to make the rate in 1644 & 1646 , he also made the rate " for the 5 Garrisons". He was assessed for the poor rate between 1643 and his death in 1652. He was the cousin of John Fiske (Junior)

He had six children, ELIZABETH, FRANCIS, MARGARET, TOBIAS, WILLIAM, ANN.

John Fiske Junior Baptised 1611-Married Francis 1638- Buried 29.12.1667 Constable in 1644 & 1652. He was assessed at £1-9s-3d for the ship money in 1640. He was first assesed for the poor rate in 1644 at 8d a month. His assessement varied widely over the course of his life, with a final payment of 6d a month.

He was the cousin of William Fiske (Senior). He had one child FRANCIS

William Fiske Junior Baptised 22.12.1635-Never married Will Dated 24.04.1673 Churchwarden in 1654-5. A chief inhabitant in 1656. He probably had no children as he left his estate to his nephew John Borrett, on condition that his servant, Elizabeth Stobard recieve £10 a year.
