There is very little known of the history of this church, however

it is believed that the first building was erected by the monks of

Covehithe, date unknown.

This church along with many others suffered during the

Cromwellian regime.The church also suffered in the Great Storm

of 1987 which swept southern England.

St. MARY UGGESHALL

Millenium Window paid for by parishoners to celebrate the year 2000

Font mid 16th century 8 Angels with outspread wings support the bowl. The font cover is 1870's it depicts a "Pelican in piety"
